Cronos: The New Dawn: Shell Patch Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Cronos: The New Dawn, your health isn't just a bar—it’s the Integrity of your Temporal Shell. If your suit is breached, the timeline consumes you. Shell Patches are the specialized injectors required to repair this damage and keep you in the fight.

Because combat is punishing and resources are scarce, knowing where to find pre-filled injectors can save you from burning through your precious crafting chemicals.

There are three distinct sizes of Shell Patches. While they can be found in the world or purchased with Energy, crafting them on the go is often your best bet for survival.

Here are several important aspects you should consider:

• Injecting a Shell Patch takes time and slows your movement. Never heal in the open; find cover or bait an enemy attack before using an injector.
• Unlike many survival horror games, using a Large Patch when you are at 75% health is a waste. There is no "Over-Shield" mechanic, so always try to maximize the value of each tier.
• Since Medium patches offer the best "Healing per Chemical" ratio, prioritize crafting them over Small patches whenever your inventory space allows.

Pre-filled Shell Patches are typically found in Medical Cabinets (marked with a white cross) or on corpses of other Travelers. However, we also encourage you to check the following:

• Safe Rooms: Every Traveler Outpost usually contains at least one guaranteed Medium Shell Patch.
• Breakables: Small patches are frequently hidden inside wooden crates and glass containers.
• The Pharmacy: This early-game location in the past timeline is the most dense source of healing items—be sure to scour every shelf.
